Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and model who was a former actor who has since retired. Elson was born in the United States and began the acting profession as a a child actress and model, before becoming a professional actress, is probably best known for the role as Alice Tyler as seen on the science-fiction drama show on CBS. Andrea got the part of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) after she auditioned. She continued to work for many years on various hit TV shows and Movies of the Week before going into the entertainment field to concentrate on her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenager daughter Kate and Willie during a time that she was going through a difficult time. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of an audience that viewed sitcoms was a challenge. In New York City in 1969 Elson grew up into a world that revolved around traveling because her father was a traveling salesman. When she was just ten years old, she was living throughout New York Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles. Andrea won her first performance in San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco was in favor of the idea, and said that "ALF is two hundred and eighty-five years old. He can drink beer he's old enough.
